FOOTDISC Orthotics Insole includes the arch support which will support the foot arch. The lateral heel wedge of the insole will provide the heel valgus with the ability to change the knee alignment during the loading respond. It will reduce the knee adduction moment on the knee joint. In other words, from the medical point of view, it can reduce the destruction of cartilage of the knee joint.

This insole has been clinical evaluated by Lab. Of Rehabilitation Engineering and Biomechanics, National Yang-Ming University, Taiwan and Shin-Kong Memorial Hospital, Taipei. It was supported through the grant NSC 98-2622-E-010-001-CC, National Science Council, Taiwan, R.O.C.
